A growing number of people are monetising product knowledge, niche curation, and trend awareness. Reselling is no longer a side note - it is a meaningful part of modern commerce works.

Reselling surged during COVID as 30% of 18-34s bought resale monthly (up from 20%), turning hobbies into gigs. Buyers now want more than transactions. They look for value, uniqueness, sustainability and trust.

Start of Onecart
It all started with Pratik Shetty, while he was working at Nbrown in Manchester, UK. He saw a sudden rise of sellers buying products and then flipping it for profit. Upon research it was evident that there is a sudden rise of bedroom entrepreneurs, a Tik-tok generation, where buying and reselling is a common phenomena.
